Application tips
Disinfect the hands first (yours and your client’s). Put on gloves, assess the condition of the hands and nails and check for contraindications.
Push back the cuticles and remove them with an e-file bit (e.g. Cuticle 9).
Gently matt the nail plate using a 100/180 grit buffer and remove dust with a soft brush.
Degrease the nail plate with Classic Cleaner.
Apply an appropriate primer (usually Acid Free Primer; for more demanding nails use Acid Primer) in a minimal amount only on the natural nail plate.
Apply a thin layer of base and cure for 30 seconds.
If the nails are weak or flat, apply two building layers (e.g. Protein Base, Mineral Base or Whitemin Base).
Cure a thicker layer of base for 60 seconds.
If needed, remove the sticky layer with Wipe Off Cleaner and smooth the surface with a 100/180 grit file.
Remove dust and clean the surface again.
Apply the first thin layer of colour and cure for 30 seconds.
Apply the second layer and cure for 30 seconds.
Finish with a top coat (e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look) and cure for 30–60 seconds.
Wait approximately 1 minute after removing the hand from the lamp.
If you used a non-wipe top coat, finish with a protein serum, keratin shea elixir or your favourite cream.
If you used a top coat with a sticky layer, wipe each nail with a lint-free cotton pad soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
For extra shine, polish the finished nails with a dry cotton pad.
