Application tips
Disinfect hands (yours and the client’s). Put on gloves. Assess the condition of the hands and nails and check for contraindications.
Push back cuticles (with a pusher or wooden stick) and remove them with an e-file bit (e.g. Cuticle 9).
Gently matt the nail plate using a 100/180 grit buffer and remove dust with a soft brush.
Degrease the nail plate using a lint-free pad soaked in Classic Cleaner.
Apply a suitable primer — most often Acid Free Primer. For demanding nails, use Acid Primer.
Apply a thin layer of gel polish base and cure for 30 seconds in a Multi LED lamp.
For weak or flat nails, apply two building layers (e.g. Protein Base, Mineral Base, Whitemin Base). Cure thicker layer for 60 seconds.
If needed, remove the sticky layer and smooth the surface with a 100/180 grit file or buffer.
Clean dust and degrease again.
Apply the first thin layer of colour and cure for 30 seconds.
Apply the second layer and cure again for 30 seconds.
Finish with a top coat (e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look) and cure for 30–60 seconds.
Wait about 1 minute after removing the hand from the lamp.
If using a no-wipe top coat, finish with serum, keratin shea elixir or cream.
If using a top with dispersion layer, wipe with Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
For extra shine, polish the nails with a dry lint-free pad.
