Application tips
For a beautiful effect, apply a thin layer over the entire nail plate and do not cure!
Then scoop more product and build up the nail with a thicker layer.
Nail build-up (superstructure):
Wash and disinfect your and your client’s hands. Put on gloves. Assess the condition of the hands and nails to ensure there are no contraindications to the treatment.
Push back cuticles with a pusher/stick and work them out with bits, e.g. 9, 1.
Shape the nails using a 180/240 or 100/180 grit file.
Use a 100/180 grit buffer to thoroughly matt the nail plate.
Remove dust with a soft brush.
Thoroughly degrease the plate with a lint-free pad and Cleaner No. 1.
Apply the appropriate primer (Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer).
Apply a thin layer of Mineral Base Effect UV LED and do not cure. Apply a second, slightly thicker layer, concentrating the product in the centre of the nail to gently build up the nail. You can further even out the surface with a thin brush such as Master Nail Art 007 or turn the hand over to use gravity to shape the upper arch. Cure. Due to the thicker layer, curing time can be extended to 60 seconds in a MultiLed lamp.
Secure the design with a top coat such as Tip Top or Wet Look and cure for 30–60 seconds.
Wait a minimum of 60 seconds for the top to cool down.
If you have chosen a top with a sticky layer*, remove it with a cotton pad soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner 3.
For extra shine, polish with a dry cotton pad.
* A top coat without a sticky layer does not need to be wiped with Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner No. 3. After waiting at least 1 minute, apply your chosen Shea Elixir with keratin to the nail folds.
Pro tip:
