Application tips
Disinfect your hands (yours and the client’s). Put on gloves, assess the condition of the hands and nails and check for contraindications.
Push back the cuticles and treat them with an e-file bit (e.g., Cuticle 9).
Gently matt the nail plate with a 100/180 grit buffer and remove dust with a soft brush.
Degrease the nail plate using Classic Cleaner.
Apply a suitable primer (in 90% of cases Acid Free Primer; for more demanding nails use Acid Primer).
Apply a minimal amount only to the natural nail plate, without touching the cuticles.
Place the template.
Apply a thin layer of base coat (e.g., Protein Base) and cure for 30 seconds in a Multi LED lamp.
Apply the first layer of gel (Self Leveling or Take Your Time) to create the skeleton and cure for 30–60 seconds.
Apply the second, thicker layer, ensuring the correct nail structure.
If needed, turn the hand upside down to model the upper arch more easily.
Cure for 30–60 seconds.
Remove the form, remove the sticky layer with Cleaner Wipe Off.
Shape the nail using a 100/180 grit file and smooth with a buffer.
Clean the nails with Cleaner Wipe Off.
Apply gel polish colour if desired and cure each layer for 30 seconds.
Apply the chosen top coat and cure for 30 seconds.
Wait one minute for the product to cool down.
If the top coat has a sticky layer, remove it with Shea Super Shine Cleaner.
For non-wipe tops, wait about a minute before applying care products.
For extra shine, polish the nails with a dry wipe at the end.
