Application tips
First disinfect your hands (yours and the client’s). Put on gloves, assess the condition of the hands and nails.
Push back the cuticles and treat them with an e-file bit (e.g., Cuticle 9).
Gently matt the nail plate with a 100/180 grit buffer and remove the dust.
Degrease the nail plate using Classic Cleaner.
Apply a suitable primer (in 90% of cases Acid Free Primer; for more demanding nail plates use Acid Primer).
Apply a minimal amount only to the natural nail plate.
Place the template.
Apply a thin layer of base coat (e.g., Protein Base) and cure in a Multi LED lamp for 30 seconds.
Apply the first layer of gel (Self Leveling or Take Your Time) to create the skeleton. Cure for 30–60 seconds.
Apply the second, thicker layer to build the correct nail structure.
If necessary, turn the hand upside down to help create the upper arch.
Cure for 30–60 seconds.
Remove the form, remove the sticky layer with Cleaner Wipe Off.
Shape the nail using a 100/180 grit file and smooth with a buffer.
Clean the nails with Cleaner Wipe Off.
Apply the chosen gel polish colour and cure each layer for 30 seconds.
Apply the selected top coat and cure for 30 seconds.
Wait one minute for the product to cool down.
If the top coat has a sticky layer, remove it with Shea Super Shine Cleaner.
For non-wipe tops, wait about a minute before applying care products.
To enhance the shine, polish the nails with a dry wipe at the end.
