Application tips
Remember to disinfect the hands first (yours and your client’s). Put on gloves, assess the condition of the hands and nails and check for any contraindications.
Push back the cuticles (using a cuticle pusher or wooden stick) and remove them with an e-file bit (e.g. Cuticle 9).
Gently matt the nail plate with a 100/180 grit buffer and remove dust with a soft brush.
Soak a lint-free pad in Classic Cleaner and thoroughly degrease the nail plate.
Apply a suitable primer – in 90% of cases it will be Acid Free Primer. For more demanding nail plates, use Acid Primer.
Apply a minimal amount only on the natural nail plate, without touching the cuticles.
Apply a thin layer of a selected base and cure for 30 seconds in the Multi LED lamp.
If the nails are weak or naturally flat, you can apply two building layers (e.g. Protein Base, Mineral Base or Whitemin Base).
Cure a thicker base layer for 60 seconds.
If filing is required, remove the sticky layer using a lint-free pad soaked in Wipe Off Cleaner.
Smooth the surface with a 100/180 file or buffer.
Remove dust and clean again with Classic Cleaner or Wipe Off Cleaner.
Apply the first thin layer of gel polish and cure for 30 seconds.
Apply the second layer of colour and cure for 30 seconds.
To finish the styling, use an appropriate top coat (e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look).
Cure the top coat for 30–60 seconds in the Multi LED lamp.
Wait approximately 1 minute after removing the hand from the lamp.
If the top coat leaves no sticky layer, apply a protein serum, keratin shea elixir or your favourite cream.
If the top coat has a sticky layer, wipe each nail with a lint-free pad soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
Want even more shine? Polish the finished nails with a dry lint-free pad.
