Application tips

• Disinfect hands (yours and your client’s), put on gloves and assess the condition of the hands and nails.

• Push back cuticles and remove them with an e-file bit (e.g. Cuticle 9).

• Gently matt the nail plate with a 100/180 grit buffer and remove dust.

• Degrease the nail plate with Classic Cleaner.

• Apply a suitable primer – usually Acid Free Primer. For more demanding nail plates use Acid Primer. Apply a minimal amount only on the natural nail plate.

• Apply a thin base layer and cure for 30 seconds in the Multi LED lamp.

• If nails are weak or flat, apply two building layers of base (e.g. Protein Base, Mineral Base or Whitemin Base) and cure for 60 seconds.

• If filing is required, remove the sticky layer, smooth the surface and cleanse again.

• Apply the first thin layer of colour and cure for 30 seconds.

• Apply the second layer of colour and cure for 30 seconds.

• Finish with a top coat (e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look) and cure for 30–60 seconds.

• Wait approximately 1 minute after removing the hand from the lamp.

• If using a no-wipe top, apply a protein serum, keratin shea elixir or your favourite cream.

• If using a sticky-layer top, wipe each nail with Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.

• For extra shine, polish the finished nails with a dry cotton pad.
