Application tips
Disinfect the hands (yours and your client’s). Put on gloves and assess the condition of the hands and nails to make sure there are no contraindications.
Push back the cuticles with a pusher or wooden stick and remove them with an e-file bit (e.g., Cuticle 9).
Gently and evenly matt the nail plate with a 100/180 grit buffer and remove dust with a soft brush.
Thoroughly degrease the nail plate with a lint-free pad soaked in Classic Cleaner.
Apply a suitable primer — in 90% of cases Acid Free Primer. For more demanding nail plates use Acid Primer. Apply a minimal amount only to the natural nail plate.
Apply a thin layer of base and cure for 30 seconds.
If the nails are weak or flat, apply two building layers of base (e.g., Protein Base, Mineral Base or Whitemin Base).
Cure a thicker base layer for 60 seconds.
If filing is required, remove the sticky layer using Wipe Off Cleaner.
Smooth the surface with a 100/180 file or buffer.
Remove dust and clean the surface again with Classic Cleaner or Wipe Off Cleaner.
Apply the first thin layer of color and cure for 30 seconds.
Apply the second layer and cure for 30 seconds.
Finish the styling with a top coat (e.g., Tip Top or Wet Look) and cure for 30–60 seconds.
Wait about 1 minute after removing the hand from the lamp.
If using a non-sticky top coat, apply a serum or hand cream.
If using a top coat with a sticky layer, wipe each nail with a lint-free pad soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
For extra shine, polish the nails with a dry cotton pad.
