Application tips
Wash and disinfect your and your client’s hands. Put on gloves and assess the nail condition.
Push back the cuticles and remove them using an e-file bit.
Shape the nails using a 180/240 or 100/180 grit file.
Thoroughly matt the nail plate with a 100/180 buffer.
Remove dust with a soft brush.
Degrease the plate using Cleaner.
Apply a suitable primer (Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer).
Apply a thin layer of base and cure for 30 seconds.
If needed, apply a second thicker layer to gently level or build the nail and cure up to 60 seconds.
Apply the first layer of colour without pressing the brush against the nail plate and cure for 30 seconds.
Apply the second layer and cure again for 30 seconds.
Seal the styling with a top coat (e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look) and cure for 30–60 seconds.
Wait at least 60 seconds for the top to cool down.
If the top has a sticky layer, remove it using Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
For extra shine, polish the nails with a dry cotton pad.
A non-sticky top coat does not need wiping — after about a minute you can apply Shea Elixir with keratin.
PRO TIP: When applying gel polish, do not press the brush against the nail surface — the colour will level itself and remain streak-free.
