Description
Barbados is a picturesque island located on the edge of the Caribbean, famous for its pristine, intensely coloured waters — the depth of which is captured in Barba Dos Tres hybrid gel polish. This saturated blue shade is perfect for both a classic glossy finish and an ultra-matte look. Its creamy texture minimizes streaks and reduces the risk of flooding the cuticles.

Application tips
Wash and disinfect your and your client’s hands. Put on gloves. Assess the condition of the hands and nails to ensure there are no contraindications to the treatment.
Push back cuticles with a pusher or stick and work them using e-file bits (e.g. 9, 1).
Shape the nails using a 180/240 or 100/180 grit file.
Matt the nail plate thoroughly with a 100/180 buffer.
Remove dust with a soft brush.
Thoroughly degrease the nail plate using a lint-free pad soaked in Cleaner No. 1.
Apply an appropriate primer (Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer).
Apply a thin layer of base and cure for 30 seconds in a MultiLED lamp.
Apply a second, thicker base layer to gently level or build the nail if needed. Cure again (up to 60 seconds due to thicker layer).
Apply the first layer of colour without pressing the brush against the nail plate and cure for 30 seconds.
Apply a second coat of colour, carefully working near the cuticles and sidewalls with a detail brush if needed. Cure for 30 seconds.
Seal the styling with a top coat (e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look) and cure for 30–60 seconds.
Wait at least 60 seconds for the top to cool down.
If using a top with a sticky layer, remove it with a lint-free pad soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
For extra shine, polish the nails with a dry cotton pad.
If using a non-wipe top, after 1 minute apply Shea Elixir with keratin to nourish the cuticles.
PRO TIP:
When applying gel polish, do not press the brush against the nail plate. Let the product glide and self-level to avoid streaks.
