Application tips
To build up nails with Ideales Base Coat, apply the first thin layer and cure. Then apply a second, thicker building layer to create a beautiful and safe nail shape. Applying one very thick layer may cause a burning sensation in the lamp and reduce durability.
Building up the nail plate
• Wash and disinfect your and your client’s hands, put on gloves
• Check the condition of hands and nails to ensure there are no contraindications
• Push back cuticles using a stick or pusher and work on them with bits (e.g. 9, 1)
• Thoroughly matt the nail plate using a 100/180 buffer
• Remove dust with a soft brush
• Cleanse the nail plate with a lint-free wipe and Purple Cleaner
• Apply a suitable primer (Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer)
• Apply a thin layer of Ideales Base Coat and cure for 30 s in a MultiLed lamp
• Apply a second, thicker layer to gently build the nail. You can level the surface using a thin brush (e.g. Master Nail Art 007) or turn the hand over to let gravity shape the apex. Cure again (up to 60 s if the layer is thicker)
• Seal the design with a top coat (e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look) and cure for 30–60 s
• Wait approx. 60 s until the top coat cools down
• If the top coat has a sticky layer, remove it with a wipe soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner
• For extra shine, polish the nails with a dry wipe
If the top coat has no sticky layer, it does not need to be wiped. After 1 minute, you can apply a selected Shea Elixir with keratin to the cuticles.
