Pastel Pink Mermaid Effect is a fine nail dust that creates a soft, girly pink surface with a subtle pearly glow. Depending on the application technique, it allows you to achieve either a smooth, glossy finish or a delicate frost effect.

Application tips

Frost Effect

Create any gel polish, gel, acrylic gel, or acrylic styling.
Apply a no-wipe top coat, but do not cure it.
Sprinkle the nail evenly over the wet layer of the top coat (e.g. using a Mixing Tool) so the Mermaid effect blends uniformly.
Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds — a slightly longer curing time ensures durability.
After curing, remove excess particles with a soft brush.
Do not cover the decoration with an additional layer of top coat, as this may dull the effect.

Smooth Effect

Create any gel polish, gel, acrylic gel, or acrylic styling.
After the second colour layer has cured, rub the Mermaid effect into its sticky layer
or apply the dedicated Effect Base, cure it for 30 seconds in a Multi LED lamp, and rub the powder into its sticky layer.
Remove excess particles with a soft brush.
Apply one of the Indigo gel polish tops (e.g. Wet Look), carefully sealing the free edge.
Cure for 30–60 seconds in the Multi LED lamp.
Wait about 1 minute for the top to cool down — applying care products too quickly may reduce the shine.
If required, remove the dispersion layer using Shea Super Shine Cleaner.
Finally, polish the nails with a dry, lint-free cotton pad until you hear a characteristic squeaking sound.
